Private Segway Tour of South Beach

Overview

We are currently OPEN for private (you/family) tours… (I’ve had both covid vaccine shots and I'll be wearing a mask)— You pick the time you'd like to go.

All our tours are private, so it would just be you and your party + a guide (moi).
I've spent a dozen years as a Lifeguard on a number of Miami's beaches and know much of what it used to be like... and how it's been transformed.
I've been doing these Segway Tours since 2007 and have been awarded TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence every year since I've been in business i.e. every year since 2007.
And SEGWAYSOUTHBEACH was the very first .COM touring company to get approval from the City of Miami Beach to begin operations on the beach.
On South Beach we go 7 miles and it usually takes about an hour and a half.

After you book ANY day / time (you can always cancel before that day without any fee), we'll be able to communicate directly with you... to ensure your tour is private, change, update, clarify anything.

This was a great experience - particularly as we were able to take our 11 and 14 yr old children. Most of the other Segway tours have minimum age of 12 - going with Michael was hassle free and a brilliant experience for the whole family. Michael was an excellent guide and instructor even allowing the kids to use his hands free Segway which they thought was amazing. Would thoroughly recommend and well worth the money.

My teenager kids loved this - we had done Segway before in UK so it wasn't hard to pick up but it's fairly easy anyway. Nice tour along the beach and Ocean Drive - Michael our guide was very good and made sure we were all good and safe and i would thoroughly recommend this way of seeing south beach if you can.

If you’ve ever been on a group tour and have been dismayed because you had to “hurry up and wait” while other group members filled out detailed waivers, were issued safety gear, held up the show, etc., you have one excellent reason to pick Segway South Beach for your Segway experience. If you’ve ever felt like you were being herded like cattle during a tour, you have a second excellent reason. And if you’ve ever felt like you were being lectured before and during a tour about what is okay to do and what is off-limits, you have a third excellent reason to pick this attraction over others available. None of these "downers" will happen with Segway South Beach! You will have a fabulous time…. Michael made our "private" Segway tour of South Beach memorable in many ways. He cheerfully accommodated our desire to take our tour early with little traffic on the streets and few pedestrians and bikers on the ocean walk. We were able to go at top speed when we wanted to do so and rode on all the various terrains and surfaces South Beach has to offer. Michael was quite knowledgeable about topics ranging from historical to financial to cultural to architectural and shared his knowledge cheerfully and willingly. Talking while weaving and pointing (his hands were free)... well, one would think he was born on a Segway! Thanks, Michael, for a fun time. Thanks, also, for letting us join the few who can say they have cruised on a hands-free Segway.
