Private Segway Tour of South Beach

Overview
We are currently OPEN for private (you/family) tours… (I’ve had both covid vaccine shots and I'll be wearing a mask)— You pick the time you'd like to go.

All our tours are private, so it would just be you and your party + a guide (moi).
I've spent a dozen years as a Lifeguard on a number of Miami's beaches and know much of what it used to be like... and how it's been transformed.
I've been doing these Segway Tours since 2007 and have been awarded TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence every year since I've been in business i.e. every year since 2007.
And SEGWAYSOUTHBEACH was the very first .COM touring company to get approval from the City of Miami Beach to begin operations on the beach.
On South Beach we go 7 miles and it usually takes about an hour and a half.

After you book ANY day / time (you can always cancel before that day without any fee), we'll be able to communicate directly with you... to ensure your tour is private, change, update, clarify anything.

We had a fantastic time traveling around Miami Beach area on Segways. Our guide, Michael, was at the meeting point early and we were away pretty quickly. Michael stopped at all the tourist sites and was very informative. We had requested the Segways with the handles and they were the easiest ones we have ever been on. Michael was on the hands free version (no loose nuts) which he let us try during the tour, easier than we expected but still prefer the ones with handles. As we had been on Segways before we were able to go faster and as a result ended our tour early, it would have been nice to go along Lincoln Road or along some of the nearby streets at the end to bring our tour up to the 1 1/2 hour duration. Nevertheless the tour was great and I would recommend to everyone.

Michael is the owner/guide, and he is very casual and yet knowledgeable. We've been on lots of segway tours and prefer not to stop every 5 minutes for speeches and photo ops, and he kept that to a minimum. Of course So Be is a fun place to be out and about, and we had a great time. He has a 'hands free' segway and showed us how to use it, it was fabulous. His tours are 'private' not large generic tours. We would do it again!

This was a really good thing to do, you got to see a lot of the nice south beach scenery and don't have to walk. The segways were easy to ride and turn and the tour was interesting also Michael had some good restaurant suggestions, we tried Joe's stone Crab but couldn't get in the Prime.one.twelve., thanks for suggestions. Would love to do it again when we come back. The men in my party had fun trying the hands free segways but I wasn't as keen on it as the normal ones. Great fun tour.
