SEGWAY RIDER REQUIREMENTS:
All guests must be age 12 or older.
All guests must weigh between 100-250 lbs or 45-113 kilos.
NOTE: We have a scale on site and check minimum weights for safety of all of our guests. Underweight guests will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the tour.
No pregnant guests are allowed due to safety reasons.
This activity is not recommended for some guests that are: ages 70 years and older, have had recent surgeries or have motor skill/control issues.
Each customer must sign a Liability Waiver.
Helmets and safety vests are provided and are required.
All participants must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance
No high heels, sandals or flip flops.
Face masks required for guides in public areas

We are an outdoor activity. Masks highly encouraged while guests are in training area and in close proximity to guides and other guests. Masks are optional for guests once out on tour route.

Lots of fun following our entertaining guide Johannes through Golden Gate Park. We were a group with wide age range and this was an ideal activity that we all enjoyed. Johannes made sure we were all trained and confident on our rides before we ever left base. We had a choice of west or east side of Park. We chose west which had less traffic and some trail riding, ending at Pacific Ocean. It’s a beautiful park and this was an experience I would definitely recommend.

We chose a private tour because one of our party was a little unsteady. Yohannes did a fabulous job making her feel comfortable before we left the practice area. This was our second private tour with him, and he has an excellent sense of the capabilities of his group. For example, we took a fairly difficult but super interesting trail with our other friends who were more comfortable on their Segways. A Segway is the absolute best way to see the park, and you can't get a better, more knowledgeable guide than Yohannes.
