Booked a tour with TopDog. The group was small which was a bonus. BRAD was the most amazing guide, changing a otherwise meaningless sigtseeing trip into a once in a lifetime experience.

An excellent tour - initially worried that having a private tour there were just the 2 of us! would be a little daunting as in my experience these types of tours can be / are very exhausting / full on. Our guide forgive me - as good as the tour was, we've forgotten his name - although i do recall he was an actor by night! he did a very good job, keeping us engaged / entertained and was very knowledgeable. Particularly in respect of Liberty Island.
Would definitely recommend this.

Great Tour! Highly Recommend it. If you are looking for a private tour this is the way to go.

Our tour guide Nicole from Top Dog Tours was great. She knew so much about the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It was also more enjoyable with not having to stress about which line to be in or where to go as our guide lead the way. One person in our party has special needs and the private tour made it easier for us.

As an FYI we took the Subway the 1 to the South Ferry Station to meet our tour guide in Battery Park. Only the first 5 cars have access to the platform to get off the train at the South Ferry station. The train operator will announce this and you can walk to a closer car at an earlier stop but just an FYI when boarding to try and get on a car that is closer to the front of the train.
