Overview

Price as shown is for the boat trip (group price) and not per adult! The charter is 2.5 hours long. The boat charter gives an opportunity to fish for a variety of species including snapper, snook, redfish, sheepshead, sea-trout, and Spanish mackerel. It is perfect for the laid back angler, for families with smaller children and beginners. Fishing-licenses and gear plus bait are included in the price.

The fishing charter boat trips are private boat trips which means only your group is on the boat (and the Captain of course). You will also have an opportunity to see some wildlife and possibly (if you like) stop at a secluded island to stroll the beach for a little bit.

The boat's electronics include GPS, Fishfinder and Bluetooth Stereo so you can play your music. Seating is comfortable and can seat all the guests. The higher sides of the boat help ensure that the little ones can't fall overboard. The T-Top provides shade.

Licensed for up to 6 guests: But while the size of the charter boat (22' motorboat) can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, with 4 fishing at the same time, to be most comfortable we limit up to 5 guests for our fishing charters.
Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
Refunds will not be issued if the charter is missed due to late or non-arrival. Cancellation: To get a full refund you must cancel your charter at least 24 hours in advance.
You are considered a "No Show" if you are 30 minutes late and do not call
What if our trip is cut short? Let's say you book a half-day trip (four hours) and a storm makes us return to the dock after two hours, you will only be charged 50% of the total price of your trip. You will only be charged for the length of the trip any given day allows us to get in.
Wheelchairs or strollers can be brought directly up to the boat but not on the boat. Comfortable seating (chairs with backrest) on the boat is available for persons with disabilities.
Recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Please wear only flat, comfortable shoes (preferably non-slip).
Covid19: Your private group shares the boat only with one other person which is the captain. The boat is not enclosed meaning this is an outdoor event in regards to Covid19.
Please wait in the Pavillion area next to the parks restrooms for the Captain to pick you up around departure time. The parks restroom area is next to the parking lot.

What To Expect

Mangroveman Charters

We will be fishing the famous Floridian Backcountry and explore some of the many Mangrove lined channels and Mangrove Tunnels. We will explore the shoreline with the beautiful view of Naples and the wild 10,000 Islands. A shore excursion is included if you like. Sunset can be viewed on the boat or from the island - it is up to you. A lot of people like the island so much that they want to stay and watch the sunset from there. After that, we will be heading back to the dock at twilight and the Captain will clean your catch at the fish cleaning table at the dock so all you have to do is cook your catch.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Paul was great, he knows his way around the mangroves , he’s quick on the poles and is just a real pleasant guy. We hit a couple spot storms but he worked his way around islands to keep us dry and safe from storms We still managed to catch almost 50 fish Including a nice keeper. We would definitely fish with him On our next trip to Naples... hopefully next time we get a better sunset!

We enjoyed our boating adventure with Captain Paul! It is obvious he is an experienced captain and knows a lot about the wildlife and ecosystems of this region. As a bonus we were within arms distance of several dolphins he spotted in route. We caught many fish including 2 keepers that we filleted and took home for dinner! Would go with him again!

We rented the entire boat and went out of 2.5 hours in the afternoon. Fishing was lively but only one fish was big enough to keep. Sunset was beautiful. Wear long sleeves and wear bugspray - we got attacked by little bugs, which were vicious!
