Escape from the crowded tourist areas for a private, 90-minute surf lesson for a group of 3-to-5 people near Lahaina, Maui. Choose from an early-, mid-, or late-morning time frame. This surf session will focus on water safety, proper surf technique, surfing style, and etiquette. The experienced, professional instructor guarantees students will stand up, catch a wave, and leave the beach as a certified surfer. Very good instructor. She handled our three kids, ages 7, 11, and 14 with ease. She kept them safe and made them feel comfortable in the water. All had good success. Will recommend to friends.

We had such an awesome time learning to surf with Rivers to the Sea! Three adults, three kids and two private instructors that were patient, engaged and so fun to be with! Personalized lesson, phone confirmation ahead of our visit and very worth the trip to Lahaina from Wailea! We will definitely use them again for our next trip to Maui when we want to surf some more!

Eric provided a top notch experience exceeding our expectations. Safety came first and he presented it in a well practiced way that our three boys, 21, 16, and 14 put into practice as soon as they were in the water. First time surfing all three got up the first time with Eric's little 'help push'. Super fun experience for our family and worth every cent. Note: when looking for the guardrail at mile post 19 it is slightly south of Google Maps location and look for the line of cars parked across the road from the water
