Escape from the crowded tourist areas for a private, 90-minute, 1-on-1 surf lesson near Lahaina, Maui. Choose from an early-, mid-, or late-morning time frame. This surf session will focus on water safety, proper surf technique, surfing style, and etiquette. The experienced, professional instructor guarantees students will stand up, catch a wave, and leave the beach as a certified surfer. All lessons are private so they will never combine guests from separate parties. All the necessary equipment — rash guard, state-of-the-art soft-top board, and reef shoes — included.

Great experience with Kain! My first time learning to surf and in first attempt was up standing riding a (small) wave. Definitely would recommend and look to book again next time in Maui!

This company is outstanding! The customer service was spot on. I highly recommended the one-on-one lessons for those looking for a great lesson. My instructor Izzy was AMAZING! Took the time to help me get up and challenged me as my lesson went on. I’d ask for her again and recommended her to all! Thanks for an amazing Surf today!

I had a great time learningto surf! Kain was a great instructor and had me up on my board right away. Spent the next day practicing on my own and I was glad that I had decided to take a lesson first. I actually felt like I knew what I was doing and could safely keep practicing by myself after my lesson!
