Overview

Escape from the crowded tourist areas for a private, 90-minute, 1-on-1 surf lesson near Lahaina, Maui. Choose from an early-, mid-, or late-morning time frame. This surf session will focus on water safety, proper surf technique, surfing style, and etiquette. The experienced, professional instructor guarantees students will stand up, catch a wave, and leave the beach as a certified surfer. All lessons are private so they will never combine guests from separate parties. All the necessary equipment — rash guard, state-of-the-art soft-top board, and reef shoes — included.

Ann Marie was an excellent instructor. Her communication was perfect as far as exactly where to meet and find her. Our 17 year old daughter was ecstatic about being able to stand up and surf several times, as this was her first time surfing. There is plenty of shade for families to watch the action. An amazing and well run activity!

Eric made everything wonderful. My partner really wanted to try surfing and he lucked out with an instructor who really knew how to connect with his client. My partner ended up going three days in a row and it was fantastic all three days. Eric connects with his client and can really read the type of person he is teaching. He is mellow, kind and prepares his client for any possible problem and how to deal with it. He is the type of person you know is there for you the entire lesson. Eric never loses his cool and makes the experience a beautiful memory for life.
