Overview

Sometimes the best way to get closer is to get away. There’s no better place to spend quality time together than Hawaii’s North Shore, and you haven’t seen the island until you’ve seen it by horseback, riding through the forest trails and overlooking the ocean.

This is a unique and unforgettable experience, far away from all the noise of the regular tourist spots. You’ll see a side of Oahu that many don’t know about and enjoy a private picnic together, complete with delicious sandwiches on fresh homemade bread, fruit, and a bottle of sparkling cider. The highlight of the ride is a sweeping panoramic view of the ocean from our lookout point, where you can take in the full scale and beauty of the island. (If you can take your eyes off each other, that is.)

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund

Mateo was a wonderful guide. Horses were beautiful. Lunch was simple but plentiful. Beautiful views enjoyed. It was very warm at the base. The ride was shaded and perfect temperature drop. They were kind enough to provide sunscreen as we forgot ours. If we are lucky enough to return to Hawaii would go again.

From start to finish everyone was professional and friendly. They answered all questions and the ride was beautiful and peaceful. The horses are so well behaved and trained. Loved the spot they took my wife and I too to have our couples lunch the view was amazing. I would recommend the couples ride for any couple who wants a great experience.

We had a great experience. We did the private couples ride with lunch. Our guide, Summer, was knowledgeable and personable. The facilities and the animals were well cared for and clean. The views were unbelievable. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Oahu. It was windy at the picnic site making it challenging to eat while policing the table cloth and trash from lunch. I think a plastic clip for the table cloth would have helped a lot!
