Overview

Sometimes the best way to get closer is to get away. There’s no better place to spend quality time together than Hawaii’s North Shore, and you haven’t seen the island until you’ve seen it by horseback, riding through the forest trails and overlooking the ocean.
This is a unique and unforgettable experience, far away from all the noise of the regular tourist spots. You’ll see a side of Oahu that many don’t know about and enjoy a private picnic together, complete with delicious sandwiches on fresh homemade bread, fruit, and a bottle of sparkling cider. The highlight of the ride is a sweeping panoramic view of the ocean from our lookout point, where you can take in the full scale and beauty of the island. (If you can take your eyes off each other, that is.)

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Small phones or small cameras allowed
No pregnant riders allowed please
CHECK-IN TIME: Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the start time of tour

What a fantastic horse back ride. Everything was perfect. We did the couple's ride, just the two of us and the guide. Great views, great packed lunch they provided. Great guide! Ask for Kira specifically. She was such a great host and guide. The couples package is definitely worth it!

We loved our sweetheart ride at Gunstock! Cole was a GREAT guide, so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He even gave us some great ideas on other places to explore on the north side. We rode up to a beautiful lookout spot on the mountain and enjoyed a great picnic lunch. We loved that it was just the two of us, opposed to a group tour. Could not recommend this ride enough!

We did the private sweetheart ride. Everyone was SO friendly! Alex was our wrangler, and she was so personable and a boy to ride along with. Our horses were fantastic, well trained and such a relaxing ride. Highly recommend Gunstock!
