What To Expect

Sawgrass Recreation Park

For the most in-depth and personal experience, take a small group private tour of the Florida Everglades’ and its unique subtropical ecosystem and animals. The Alligator & Reptile Exhibit is included and takes about 45 minutes to enjoy. Important Note: Pricing is based on a per person basis; regardless of number of people booking, you are buying out the whole boat for your private tour. All ages are welcome to enjoy the airboat tour. Children 3 years and under need not be included in the guest count as there are no additional charges for this age.

Captain Lauderdale worked very hard to find us wildlife while telling us about the eco system. We saw several types of water fowl, leatherback turtle, alligators and fish. It was very enjoyable. Have done this trip several times in the past and have always enjoyed it. Keep in mind this is wildlife so can't guarantee sightings of any of the creatures.

We had a great tour! The air temp that day was unusually cool for south Florida in October, so we were concerned we wouldn’t find a gator, but our guide, (I think Capt. John?) made sure he located one for us. He was quite knowledgeable on the flora and fauna of the area and was anxious to share his knowledge. He was also patient with us on our need to pick up stray balloons from the Everglades. Plus, he gave us our tour on his birthday. No regrets on taking this tour.

Our tour guide was so nice, so very knowledgeable and very competent. It was obvious he loves doing this! I would recommend doing the private party ride as opposed to a lg group! It was sooooo much fun!!
