Guides are required to wear masks at the shop and rental stand but as soon as tours and lessons begin it is extremely easy to maintain a safe distance and the use of masks will only happen if requested by the client.

My 13 yr old enjoyed 2 days in a row of surf lessons- would recommend more than one day. Son was able to get up in pretty windy weather w not do good waves. He enjoyed himself and wants to do it again. Sean and ally were great instructors and very patient, positive. Lessons are 20 min south of Santa Barbara just south of rincon at Mondos just north of Ventura. If you are staying in Goleta would try another outfitter. We were staying at east beach so really not a long drive.

We were stoked to have such a beautiful and peaceful day on the water. Abe showed us a great spot to catch waves and we spent the entire lesson in the ocean, no time was wasted! Abe was encouraging and fun to be around, which is important for us beginning surfers! Very righteous.

Abraham was an excellent instructor. My kids had some of the basics down before the lesson. He was able to teach them additional tips - they both were able to stand within a few minutes of being in the water. The waves were 'ok' - great area for beginners
