The river was amazing and the weather was wonderful! The only problem we had was that no one was encouraged to wear masks and there were not social distance regulations in place even though we were promised that in the email from High Country. The bus ride was crammed with people and could have easily spread the virus.

While we had a great time tubing, the view is beautiful, the tubes were of high quality, as were the life jackets; this experience was NOT COVID friendly. We drove our own car to the entrance of the river, due to the fact that there was an over abundance of people, too many piling onto a school bus, masks were NOT required and very few people were wearing them voluntarily. The office is small, with people waiting to check-in with no social distancing. We went early, but by the time we left at approximately 2:15 there were endless amounts of large groups of people. While this seems like a "safe" COVID outdoor activity, there are pre-cautions by High Adventure that could have been and should be taken.

NO COVID PRECAUTIONS! I was stunned at the lack of planning from this company on the health of their employees and guests. Large groups of people were at the office area, the life jacket station and ALL put on school bus and only asked to keep a row between groups. NO MASKS were required. There were so many people on the river at once that our raft and to constantly push off tubes, just trying to avoid them. There was NO social distancing at the "portage" spot where. Since I have been on other river runs during the the pandemic, I KNOW it can be fun and low risk for spread of the virus. STAY AWAY if you want to stop the spread of COVID-19!
