Your guide, Adam has been guiding outdoor adventures for over ten years and will customize an adventure to best fit your needs and wants, all while making safety his number one priority. Adam will also capture the magnificent beauty of Valley of Fire through his camera during the duration of your time together at no additional cost.

While learning about Valley of Fire’s vast history, vegetation, and beautiful wildlife, you will hike through routes created by Adam.

Your tour will include pickup and drop-off from your hotel, a fun and knowledgeable guide, snacks/water, and a complimentary photo package. We believe in quality over quantity. What To Expect

Valley of Fire State Park

Discover the dramatic beauty of Valley of Fire State Park, located northeast of Las Vegas, on a private hiking and sightseeing tour. You'll have the chance to see ancient sandstone formations, the varying bright colors of the rocky landscape, winding canyons, and more as you explore with a guide, who tells you about the area's wildlife, plant life, and natural history.

My partner and I went on a guided tour with Adam back in January 2019. Honestly, it was the best guided tour I've ever been on. Adam picked us up from the MGM Grand and took us out to the Valley of Fire. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and genuinely enthusiastic to show off a place he so clearly loves. Adam adjusted our route based on our interests and skill level, and was skilled at assisting us to traverse challenging terrain features. He also took a slew of photos of our tour, at no extra charge. We will be taking another tour with him the next time we find ourselves in Nevada.

Incredible and high-impact experience all around! We booked our half day sunrise hike about a week before arriving to Las Vegas. After visiting Vegas many times before, my wife and I were looking for a more outdoorsy Nevada experience in a climate/landscape that was much different from where we live in South Florida. This couldn't have been a better decision to connect with Adam & Outdoor Travel Tours. Adam followed up with us the day before our scheduled sunrise hike and promptly picked us up from our hotel near the strip at 5:30 to embark on our adventure to the Valley of Fire. From our first interaction, Adam's energy was upbeat, positive, and refreshing. It quickly became evident that Adam loves what he does and enjoys showing others the splendor of this most awesome State park, which consists of 46,000 acres of terrain. During our drive out to the Valley of Fire, which was an hour, we enjoyed chatting with Adam and learning about his story and why the Valley of Fire has become his "office". Upon arrival at the State park, Adam guided us to the best vantage point to capture incredible sunrise pictures. Not only is Adam knowledgeable, he is also a most excellent photographer with a great eye to capture your experience. You have never heard pure silence and serenity until you have experienced a sunrise in the Valley of Fire. Since we were in the mood and shape for a more rigorous tour, Adam tailored a hike for us that was challenging, but oh so enjoyable. Adam's guidance in navigating through the terrain is invaluable. It is clear that he knows this terrain like the back of his hand, which gives the guest a sense of comfort and confidence. In total, the tour was about 6 hours long and we enjoyed each and every moment. We left this experience with a sense of gratitude and accomplishment. It was a pure delight spending this time with Adam in his "office". We would highly recommend this activity to any person who yearns for adventure in an awesome natural setting.

My friend and I went on a girls trip to Vegas and we wanted to get off the strip a little bit and see something different. I found Adam through a google search and his reviews on TripAdvisor were so great that I decided to book a 1/2 day hiking trip. He did not disappoint! He picked us up really promptly at our hotel and drove us out to the Valley of Fire. Very easy to talk to, personable and REALLY knowledgeable about the area and where we were going. (I don't think I would want to go off hiking in this area without a knowledgeable guide because it would get really easy to get lost.) Our only regret was that we didn't book a full day with him because it would have been worth it. Don't worry though, because we will definitely do it again the next time we are in Vegas. Truly worth every minute!!!!!
