Kevin picked us up at the B&B to take us South to the Umpqua Valley (Roseburg area) for our wine tour for the whole day. I learned more about Tannins (light to moderate cottonmouth), Native Yeast, and Cultured Yeast than I think I ever wanted to know about but it was most appreciated. My wife is not really a white wine drinker but Kevin got her to like Riesling's and she will have some the next time she has Thai food. Kevin provided a food platter for lunch so we could picnic and explained how to pair different sausages, cheeses, vegetables to different varietals of wine. What a difference a food item can have on taste. He also saved himself from losing a star due to the fact that he did not include mushrooms on the food platter. At three of the four wineries, we got to meet with the winemaker which made the experience even better and learn about the passion of their work. Never had that experience in Napa or Sonoma CA before. I am going to keep the vineyard names that we went to myself so if you ever go you will be surprised by the wines and the views. He even recommended a couple of wineries outside of Salem, which one was outstanding as well. These wines were as good if not better than CA wines I have had in the past. In conclusion, if you really want to learn about wines and have a really enjoyable experience with someone who is personable and gracious, book a tour with Kevin. You will not be disappointed.

I needed to come up with a unique birthday present for my wife and I hit a grand slam with Vine2Wine. My wife and I spent the afternoon together wine tasting in The Willamette Valley and it was a blast. We were expertly guided and entertained by Kevin who knows more about wine and the vineyards than anyone i've ever met. The tour took us to 4 vineyards and in between Kevin provided fabulous apppetizer/snacks for us. We didn't have to think of or do anything. It was complete and perfect from start to finish. At the price they charge for this kind of high-quality private experience, it's the "Deal of the Century." I highly recommend it.

Kevin took me on a personal tour a while ago to a few wineries in the Eugene and surrounding areas and it was unreal. The scenery combined with the wine and winery settings were absolutely beautiful. I strongly recommend a tour. A great way to learn about wines, country and Oregon!
