What To Expect

Lamar Valley

This tour is customizable! During the winter months this tour will only cover the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. The Northern range is a wonderful place to view wildlife such as Wolves, Bison, Foxes, Coyotes, Deer, Elk, Otters, Eagles, and much more! During the summer the Northern Range is a wonderful place to see all the animals listed above with the addition of Grizzly and Black Bears!

Nolan is extremely knowledgeable about the history and current events of Yellowstone NP. We learned so much throughout the day. We went to watch some elk bugling and ended up hearing wolves howling at sunrise. Hiked a bit and found them. Such an amazing experience to watch them. We then continued throughout the park searching for other wildlife like grizzlies and ghosts of the forest. I 1,000% recommend booking a tour with Nolan. I will be booking with him again!

We wouldn't usually have chosen a guided tour, but with the road closures in 2022 it was a necessity and now we're glad we did. Nolan is an excellent guide- friendly and informative. He guided us for two days, one focused on wildlife and one on geology. He was an excellent wildlife spotter, took us to beautiful places that weren't as crowded as the big name attractions, and explained it all. Not to be overlooked, his wife Caitlyn provides delicious homemade breakfast and lunch snacks.
