Professional Stargazing in Joshua Tree

Overview

Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable and will take you on a journey through our sky. Learn to find north and the location of our seasonal triangles, constellations and planets. Using high-powered laser pointers, we will provide you an entertaining and scholastic experience, with stories about ancient civilizations, Greek mythology, and the evolution of the Cosmos.

Our telescopes are operated with a keypad and are as easy to use as sending a text. Telescopes are pre-programmed with our object list for the night. Pressing one button on the keypad moves the telescope to the next object.

We regularly view the following types and classes of objects: Galaxies, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Double and Binary Stars, Planets, Earth’s Moon, Globular Clusters, Comets, and more. Depending on timing, the International Space Station (ISS) and Starlink trains can be seen passing overhead.

This was a wonderful experience! A very thoughtful and comprehensive presentation about the universe, and incredible views of the stars and planets through the telescopes. This experience was beyond our wildest hopes. I recommend this to everyone. There was excellent communication from the hosts about expected cold weather, and there were delicious hot drinks available at the viewing site. Well thought out and presented with a huge wow factor added in!

My wife and I went last night and highly recommend this experience. They were well organized, communicative, friendly, informative, their directions to the site were on point and the landscape was uniquely and interestingly captivating. Devon, our astronomer guide was fabulous. Her subject matter expertise and narration was educational and entertaining. She never missed a beat and kept us captivated the entire time. And there was hot chocolate to boot! The telescopes, both digital and analog, were phenomenal and the images took our breath away.

The event had drama and such good information delivered in a relaxing environment where you walked a bit, then lay down, then looked through telescopes then had some hot chocolate, etc! What a good speaker, mixing info with the bigger picture.
