My family and I booked the Quick and Easy Ice Fishing Tour, and Lee was our guide. We caught several king salmon and rainbow trout, throwing back many too small to eat and keeping a handful of good size fish for our meal. We went to some fishing holes on the far side of the lake, so we got the added bonus of riding/driving the snowmachines to our fishing holes; I did a lot of research on companies for this tour prior to booking this one, and a lot of companies make you pay a lot more money for the "combo" tour (fishing + snowmachining) that this tour ended up being for no extra charge - of course, this detail of our trip was by chance depending on what part of the lake we were fishing. This tour also includes eating your catch, which Lee cooked to perfection. My dad is a big bass fisherman from the east coast and wasn't initially looking forward to this ice fishing experience, but ended up having so much fun due to larger than expected fish being caught and getting to talk with Lee about Alaska fishing stories. Lee was extremely approachable, sociable, and knowledgable. We all agreed that him and his laid back and fun personality are a large part of what made this tour so enjoyable. We'd book this tour again in a heartbeat and would certainly recommend to any friends or family visiting the area!
