RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel

Overview

On a 5.5-hour tour we will take you to experience towering sea cliffs & pristine beaches of the Na Pali coast. Our Captain and Crew will share history, legends and knowledge of local marine life. Encounter playful dolphins, green sea turtles & much more. Migrating humpback whales (Dec-March). Conditions permitting, we will get you into sea caves, under the waterfalls and snorkel one of the best reefs on Kauai. Choose a morning or afternoon departure; both include lunch, beverages & snorkel gear. Activity description

Rafting excursions can be physically demanding, bouncy, bumpy & lot's of fun. Participants should be in above average physical shape. You need to be able to climb a sturdy vertical ladder to get back on the raft after snorkeling. This tour is very adventurous, Wet, Wild & Wow! Be prepared for an exhilarating day! All water sports and or Na Pali are conditions permitting.

Another couple was seasick in the group and the boat turned around after only 20 miles. No snorkeling. No other exploration. No refund.

BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING: This tour goes out even if they know beforehand that the swells are too high to snorkel or go near shore to see any caves let alone go into them. Even knowing that, they take a boat full of tourists out into huge swells, 5 out of 11 passengers sick (yes, everyone took Bonine before the trip) and knowing there will be no snorkeling or cave exploration, they continued until the end. No one on our boat wanted lunch or to pursue whales on the way back. Everyone just wanted off.. Everyone was a degree of nauseous. Folks from Colorado and Northern California were very sick and overall, we realized the company knew before we left the dock that it was simply going to be a VERY rocky boat ride nothing more. It is understood that they have a business to run but why wouldn't they make the ethical choice to simply offer the truth and an alternate destination to a cove for snorkeling? What a different trip that would have been. This was disappointing and losing a day to seasickness, although good for this companies bottom line, is awful for those here for a limited time.

The beautiful coastline was amazing to travel along. The rough waters was not the best time to be on the water.
