The trip should have been cancelled due to the low water level. I feel like we carried the raft and walked more than we were in it. The guide was average not really engaging with the group. He obviously knows his stuff but was otherwise engaged. He did say we would be the last group of the season.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations. Our rivers are glacially fed and constantly changing due to natural shifts in water flow and sediment deposits, which can occasionally result in shallow channels. While we do our best to navigate the most suitable routes, these rivers are dynamic, and at times we may encounter areas where the water level requires some walking and maneuvering with the raft. We appreciate your understanding of the unpredictable nature of glacial rivers. Regarding the guide's engagement, we strive to ensure that all our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. It’s possible the guide was preoccupied with reading the river and making real-time decisions to ensure the safest and most effective route for your group, especially given the conditions that day. However, we’ll certainly share this feedback with them to ensure future trips are more interactive and engaging. Additionally, this was not the last trip of the season, and we’ve since had many successful runs. The river has been flowing smoothly, but it sounds like your experience may have coincided with a day where the conditions were a bit more challenging. We’re grateful for your feedback and hope that despite the challenges, you were still able to enjoy the beauty and adventure of the trip.

What an awesome adventure. We could not have asked for a better day. Our guide Cohan was outstanding. He taught us the ins & outs of rafting and we set off. We saw eagles along the way. It truly was an outstanding tour.
