Rainforest Waterfall Trail and Shuttle Service

Overview
A residential area close to Waikiki and Ala Moana, Manoa Valley is known for its frequent rain showers. The area receives rain almost every day, making rainbows a common sight. The valley and surrounding mountains are filled with hiking trails, of which Manoa Falls is the most popular.

This activity includes a roundtrip shuttle from your Waikiki hotel with a duration of 4 hours (Roundtrip with pickup/drop off). The hike begins over a large footbridge and then crosses a small stream through a grove of Eucalyptus trees. The 0.8 mile trail gradually ascends through a lush rainforest ending at a viewing area set back from the base of the falls. It's a must do attraction!

This was a nice activity, that would have been a lot better if there was water coming down the waterfall. There was no rain in the rain forest or water in the waterfall. Basically it was a hike up a very rocky mountain.

Thank you for your honest feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the activity overall, though we understand that the lack of water in the waterfall and the rain forest made it less enjoyable than expected. Unfortunately, the flow of the waterfall can vary depending on the weather, and sometimes, the conditions aren’t ideal. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to offer you a more rewarding experience next time with better weather!

This review is for Kaimana Tour, Manoa Water Fall. Honestly, it is not a tour, it is just a guy that pick you up at one location, drop you off at water fall track, and pick you up again 2 hrs later and charge you 300 dollars. You are better off taking an uber, a lot more cheaper. We borrowed 2 hiking stickers, which we lost one of them, and had me pay penalty of $25.

Aloha! Thank you for sharing your feedback. Just to clarify, this is a shuttle service where the driver provides local knowledge and takes you to your destination. The cost of this service is $52.99 per person, not $300. We strive to offer a convenient and informative experience at an affordable price. Regarding the lost hiking stick, as stated in the waiver you signed and the signs posted throughout the van, there is a $25 penalty fee for any lost or damaged items. This fee is the responsibility of the customer, as it covers the replacement cost of the equipment. We understand accidents happen, but it's important to note that these costs are standard and need to be covered by the guest when such incidents occur. We appreciate your understanding, and we hope you still enjoyed your time at Manoa Falls!

Lots of gorgeous endemic plants and trees to see, just like in the Jurassic Park films. Easy to navigate. There's a very challenging hike at the end of the main hike (by the waterfall).

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad you enjoyed the stunning endemic plants and trees along the hike—it’s always amazing to see nature so beautifully preserved, and the Jurassic Park comparison is spot on! The challenging section near the waterfall definitely adds a bit of adventure to the experience, but the rewards are definitely worth it. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and hope you had a memorable time exploring the island’s natural beauty. We'd love to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!
