The museum is wonderful in every aspect. I loved how they talked about the democratic aspects of pirate ships as well as enslavement during the 18th century. It is filled with amazing artifacts and props and lighting that bring the story of Captain Bellamy, the Whydah and his crew to life! 🏴‍☠️💓

This was the best part of our trip to Salem! We came for the witches but found this pirate exhibit and REAL treasure! It was totally worth the money to go and actually see and feel the real stuff instead of reproductions, especially treasure. The guides are great and super informative and make the whole experience come to life. If you go to Salem, make sure you don't leave this attraction out. It was the highlight to our trip.

Took my kids to see this new museum in Salem. Many fascinating exhibits featuring artifacts recovered from the wreck of Sam Bellamy's Whydah. One of only two places worldwide featuring actual recovered pirate treasure. The museum director provided an excellent narrative to many of the exhibits. Highly recommended!
