I loved this experience. Loads of pictures of mustangs. I want to repeat it soon. Be sure to wear your hiking boots and long pants to protect against cactus spines when you get out of the vehicle to take pictures and get a closer look.

I did the photographic Mustang Tour and it exceeded my expectations. It was a rainy day so I expected less activity, but there were breaks in the rain and the horses we found were quite active. My favorite part was walking out about 1/2 mile to the band, jumping a stream, working our way through the Sage. Mike, my guide, was very good, driving to many locations, keeping an eye on fringe Stallions so we could move when they came in, giving the horses the required 300 feet of distance. Although in some places we could photograph from the vehicle, the best part was being able to walk out to them and be immersed in the element. The level of interactions was beyond my expectations!
