Stop off at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center to check out the exhibits and gift shop for souvenirs. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see Mojave Max, the Desert Tortoise!

Calico Hills

Take pictures of the kaleidoscopic Southwest colors of Calico Hills. These rock formations are ancient sand dunes with fossils of animals and plants preserved within their layers. Water is stored in natural tanks, which feed the area’s unique ecosystem.

Nice vehicle. The tour was expensive for what we got out of it. The tour could have been three hours. Pretty scenery.

The best part of the trip is the first part of the scenic loop it would be better if the loop was reversed as it gets a bit boring. I also thought the trip was expensive for what it offered.

This was a great tour. Communication beforehand was excellent. They arranged to pick us up at our hotel and drop us back there, slightly off the strip. The Pink Jeep tour vehicle is unmistakable. They checked in with us the day before. The guide (Bob) was knowledgeable about Las Vegas, Red Rock's history/geology/flora/fauna etc. He knew the best places for pictures, interesting archeological sites, the remnant Ponderosa Pine forest etc. Bob was friendly, talkative, and welcoming. Red Rock conservation area was spectacular. Fascinating geology, red rocks, desert landscape....wonderful. Well worth a half day trip. I highly recommend this tour and this tour company. (I have no connection with them other than I took the Red Rock excursion. )
