Red Rock Slot Canyon

Overview

Come explore some of Southern Utah's most unique slot canyons!
This tour begins with a thrilling ride in a customized off-road machine leading to a slot canyon, which is privately accessed and far from any paved roads. Once at the canyon's mouth, the hike begins. The red canyon walls stretch over 100 -feet high on either side, with a gap of only 6-10 feet between the walls to hike through.

Led by a guide and local expert, the tour continues on foot through the canyon while learning about Native American history and geographical information.

This tour is specific for groups that do not desire to climb, and when the canyon gets too difficult the group will hike back to the UTV and travel to a separate slot canyon and explore the bottom section of it as well.

We are on a family adventure with my 80 year old parents and 10 year old son. Finding activities that appeal to all is a challenge! We booked this adventure with no expectations, and worried about the weather. Then we were greeted by John, our very friendly guide, who interrupted his own lunch to take us on an experience…He immediately knew how to put us all at ease, drive like a boss, and explain the history of our stops on the tour. Everyone was enthralled! John took special care with everyone, letting us go slow when needed, climb scary rocks, and share the best photo spots with patience and fun the priorities! The tour was a 10, and our guid was an 11. Do yourself a favor and book it now and request John.

We went on a slot canyon tour with Cat. We did one that was just hiking, no serious climbing, since our kids are ages 4 and 7 years old. Everyone enjoyed it (me, husband and two daughters). There was a little climbing over a rock in the slot, but with help even my 4 year old could easily do it. Our guide knew so much about the area and the Native American culture and history, as well as the geology of the place. We learned a lot and had a great time. Highly recommend this if you are a little adventurous!
