This is the most easy and accessible opportunity to have an up-close and personal interaction with these magical creatures - reindeer! Reindeer have all kinds of incredible adaptations that make them so unique and interesting, not least of which being, their big hairy lips that you'll see as they munch the leaves, lichen, and feed that you offer them. You'll learn all kinds of other fascinating facts about reindeer and have all kinds of wonderful photo opportunities throughout this experience.

Some days the reindeer are friendly, sometimes more stand-offish - like most animals! Owner has 2 delightfully friendly dogs and the gathering cabin is gorgeous, very informative host!

This was an outstanding experience to see reindeer up close and a chance to feed them. The host was friendly and knowledgeable. Great for kids.

We just did this tour. I will say the host was amazing, very informative tour. The best part was while walking around the grounds and learning about Alaksa foliage and wilderness you were accompanied by a reindeer. I would highly reccomend this tour for anyone visiting the area.
