Guide took us into a VCU lobby to use restrooms and refused to put on a mask when asked by hospital staff.

I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience. We instruct all of our guides to keep their tours within the scheduled time frame and will continue to do so. We also instruct them to follow all Covid requirements. I have spoken with you guide and addressed these issues. Jeff

Our favorite part was seeing the older 19th century buildings mixed in with the newer buildings. Also, I am a woman of a certain age, and I really appreciated at the halfway mark, the quick stop inside one of the hospital buildings to get warm, use the bathroom, and get a cup of Starbuck's! The length and time of the tour felt just right. Ray, our tour guide, was affable and really seemed to know his local history. His love of this Capitol city shone through. We learned a lot!
