What a great tour! Our guide Emily was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Two of us were visiting Richmond for our 90 yr old Aunt's birthday. Our Aunt with her cane was able to walk it all. We would walk a few blocks, stop for some history and be able to sit at a bench. I highly recommend this tour, so much history in the area. Can't say enough good things. Thank you Emily and all who coordinate this.

We enjoyed our Richmond Downtown Walking Tour. We learned a lot about the history - from stories about Abraham Lincoln coming to Richmond and visiting the Confederate White House after the fall of Richmond, to the Capital Building and monuments at the Capital, and the insidious history of slavery in Richmond. The trip takes about 100 minutes and was a lot of fun.

Although it was unseasonably chilly, our group totally enjoyed this tour. Our guide , Kathy, was so knowledgeable, and gave us a real flavor of the history of the city.
