We did the two hour Richmond Landmark tour. Very interesting tour and very well done. Since we’re Segway vets, we just killed time as the other people in our group practiced this new skill in a nearby alley, then off we went. Saw many sights in Richmond including the canals, Capital and Governor’s residence. Even though our guide stressed safety and watched over the group, we had four of the twelve people in our group take a minor tumble during the tour. We have been on over 10 Segway tours around the world and we never saw anything like this. The bottom line? A Segway is easy to learn and very safe but these folks all did something the guide specifically told them not to do. Live and learn.

FUN! We had an awesome tour with a very informative and interactive guide. Grace had a lot of interesting stories and easy instruction on operating the Segway. We will definitely choose Segway tours again.

We had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The tour guide got everybody oriented and comfortable riding the Segways before we started the tour. Most of us were new to the experience, but he was patient and helpful. It was a great tour, informative and fun. It's definitely a great way to see a lot of the area in a short amount of time.

We went on the weekend Saturday morning, so we did not have to deal with work week traffic or workers. I'm not sure how much both of those would have impacted the tour, although I'm sure they take it into account. If you have not ridden a Segway, it's not difficult to learn although I was a bit concerned initially. I felt comfortable still cautious, very quickly. Next time, i will probably wear a show with a stiffer sole. The Segway senses the shift in your weight, so you can feel it in your feet at the end of the tour. I don't want that to sound like a reason not to try it -- I just think a stiffer sole would lessen that feeling.
