Begin your adventure with an immersive film by award-winning documentarian Ric Burns and narrated by Jeff Goldblum that transitions to an interactive self-guided walkthrough tracing tipping points in history that contributed to NYC's global pop culture evolution. Discover the rise of Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange in our Finance Gallery. Learn the history of mass media after the advent of Tesla's Coil in the TV/Radio gallery. Understand the laws of physics through the Otis elevator brake in our Skyline gallery. Visual and performing arts come to life in the Fashion, Music, Film, and Broadway galleries. Then prepare to soar to New (York) heights with a spectacular uplifting ride - a world-class flying theater - that gives visitors a unique bird's-eye view of the Big Apple. See the Statue of Liberty up close, fly over Central Park, Yankee Stadium, and more - all while seated inside a 180-degree 40' projection dome that gives the sensation of flight!

Very enjoyable. The site has the incorrect address of the location. Off by one street. Like soaring over california. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk through. Staff friendly. Innovation at its best. Great history lesson on NY. Categorized by history, radio, TV, theater, fashion. Amazed how quickly people were going through the place. Would totally recommend.

RIseNY is included in the New York pass and we liked it very much. Also our adolescents liked it because the museum also speaks about music, tv programs etc. The ride in the end is really really nice! If you are in NY, you have younger or older children I would not hesitate to take this attraction. Especially not when you have the NY pass since it is included. When we visited the toilets were very clean too!

Not worth the $$$. The ride portion is similar to Soarin over California. For over $85 there is a short museum, Then a long wait (was over 30 min) to do the ride portion. We had seats 10-11 which were on the very sides. It was fun but everything was suuuuper fish-eye from that far over to the side. The ride can be bought for $12.50 if you want to do it a again. Which means we paid more to go to the museum than the Met! No good bathroom signs and when you get there it badly needs cleaned and supplies (tp AND towels gone).
