Road to Hana Day Trip

Overview
The Hāna Highway is a 64.4-mile long stretch of spectacular views of rainforest, waterfalls, beaches and coastline. On the east after Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kīpahulu on the Piilani Highway. Although Hāna is only about 52 miles from Kahului, it takes about 2.5 hours to drive when no stops are made as the highway is very winding and narrow and passes over 59 bridges, 46 of which are only one lane wide. There are approximately 620 curves along Route 360 from just east of Kahului to Hāna, virtually all of it through lush, tropical rainforest. Many of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910 and all but one are still in use. This full-day trip to the Hana coast has the best scenic drive along the shorelines of Maui.

The day was great starting off with a hotel pickup by Sean (also great restaurant tips) and the Road to Hana with Justin. Being on the tour allowed you to see everything as opposed to a self drive were the driver would be concentrating on the road. The stops were well timed and the views/vistas were great. Well worth the time and money

We went on the trip to hana with our 2 yrs old daughter. Our driver and guide Eddie was awesome, He helped us in every possible way .Some disorderly people were in our bus , they complained all the time for no reason. He handled them very gracefully. We are very satisfied with his great job. We enjoyed alot .. I have never experienced a trip like this before, where was saw dozens of marvels of nature in a single day, this was our best tour ever!!! Eddie, thanks a million!
