We are one of the First Private Tour Providers on the island and have been in business since 2007. We custom tailor each tour to our guests bucket list desires and abilities. Our guides knowledge of Hawaii's unique history and ecology gives special meaning to our tours. Limiting the tours to one or two small groups at a time gives us the ability to serve our guests on an individual basis and creates a more comfortable dynamic for questions and answers. you come as a guest and leave as family.

What To Expect

Hana Highway - Road to Hana

One of the only tropical rain forests in the world that you can drive through. Main locations listed below, but other stops available. Please discuss with your guide what you would like to do/see.

Ho'okipa Beach Park

Maui's famous surfing, windsurfing and kite boarding beach. We stop to see Maui's famous large green sea turtles napping the in sun.

Waikamoi Ridge Trail

Beautiful Ocean Vista's and introduction to Maui's unique flora and fauna.

Ke‘anae Point

Small Hawaiian Village, Taro Fields, Lava Coastline and the chance to sample Auntie Sandy's fresh banana bread.

Wailua Valley State Wayside Park

Both valley and high vantage point coastal views.

Pua'a Ka'a State Park

Safe and accessible waterfalls to swim in.

Charles Lindbergh's Grave

Peaceful chapel and historic graveyard.

Laulima Farm

Short farm trail to view coffee and unique fruits and local grown vegetables. Peaceful bamboo seating areas.

Kaupo

Watch the transition from tropical rain forest to arid ranch lands. Spectacular panoramic views of the backside of Haleakala.

We had the best day on our Road to Hana tour with Eli. He stopped off on several locations that were hidden gems that most tourists were unaware of. We ended with a hike to Waimoku Falls in Haleakalā National Park. We toured the entire island. Amazing….highly recommend Awapuhi Adventures and specifically, Eli as your tour guide!

Me and my wife did this Road to Hana tour on 9/3 and were fortunate enough to get owner of the company Matt. Matt was knowledgeable, accommodating, entertaining, and all around wonderful tour guide. It is clear that he loves his job and it shows in the amazing tour he provided. He took us in lava tubes, waterfalls, beaches, and so much more. Mike even will act as your personal photographer during the tour (what a guy!!!). Even after the trip Matt was happy to respond to our questions about the island. Overall this was a 5 plus star experience that I would recommend to anyone who is takes a trip to the beautiful island of Maui. I would recommend bringing a few hundred dollars on the trip for food and souvenirs.
