Attended last year with another couple and our group was very lively. It was nice to hear some of the history of Roanoke and enjoyed visiting the Taubman Museum of Art nearby as well as the farmer's market.

I have only great things to say about the food & cultural tour of Roanoke. Our guide, Amelia, was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. All of the food was excellent, but the standouts for us was the shrimp & cheesy grits at Billy's and the peanut soup & spoonbread at Hotel Roanoke. I highly recommend the tour at the beginning of your visit to Roanoke, so that you can go back to any restaurants you particularly enjoy. We went back to Billy's for dinner the next night. A great way to see the city.

This was my first time visiting Roanoke, so I researched things to do and came across the food tour. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Roanoke to take this tour. It was a great way to explore the city, learn about its history, see all the popular sites and taste lots of great food. Every restaurant was different, but all were yummy. My favorite was Billy's, their shrimp and grits were the best ever! Our tour guide was Amelia, she was very knowledgeable, fun, had a great personality and definitely added to our experience!!
