When I paid $35 each ahead of time, I thought it was expensive. However, after spending 4 1/2 hours there, and could’ve even spent more, it was definitely more than worth the money. Not only are the displays well done, informative and entertaining, the building itself is very welcoming and fun. The sits on the corner in the city and there is a huge plaza to sit outside. There’s a photo app with the red letters of rock ‘n’ roll. There are plenty of seats, a couple of food trucks and a stage where they have entertainment. Johnny Cash’s boss is outside or display, viewing is for the outside of it only. Lovely setting for nice day. Employees are very casual and social. There are six floors, but since it’s pyramid building, each floor gets smaller. The Beatles let it be exhibit is on temporary display and it is wonderful. There are a lot of small video screens for viewing throughout the venue. Unfortunately not too much seating for them. There’s a Floor where you can be the rockstar and try various instruments like guitar, keyboard, drums etc. There’s even a video giving you instructions how to play properly. There were some free rock ‘n’ roll pinball machines as well on that floor. One exhibit on the fourth floor I believe was unavailable because they were having a private party. That was a little disappointing. You were able to see the new inductees into the Hall of Fame. There were instruments, music sheets, costumes etc. for many many artist. Everyone was sure to find something of their favorite. Very clean. Photos can be taken. No flash. Food court on main floor plus outside. Extensive gift shop offered also. Bathrooms only on one floor. I definitely recommend and do allow enough time. Cleveland photo op sign by Lake Erie just short couple blocks away. We needed to buy tickets online in advance
