Renaming to "Music Hall of Fame" will have a double benefit for both - you and customers visiting you.
1. You will receive more customers (not only those who THINK they will see only rock, but people who listen to all other kinds of music) which means higher profit for you.
2. People visiting you will know beforehand, they will see SOME rock among many other music, so they wont be misled and leave disappointed.
Being a rock fan all my life, visiting the RnRHOF now at age 53, was the only reason putting Cleveland on our 2 weeks US tour itinerary. I really had great expectations, but after 2 hrs got out pretty disappointed and felt a bit cheated.
Entry fee of 30$ (credit card only) is way too steep for what you get.
You start from the -1 floor, which is the biggest one (due to the pyramid structure). Here you learn about the rock history and its roots in blues, Motown,...etc, starting from 50's over the 60's and 70's with Beatles and RS to 80's and 90's and this part was good - well presented and interesting, despite I saw there Beyonce, Lady Gaga... (What the hell they're doing there ???).
Another interesting floor is I think, the 2nd floor where you can play or learn to play instruments with playback cover.
The further up you go, the smaller and more desperate it gets with the culmination of despair on the Inductees floor. I could not believe so I double checked (as well later on the website) - no induction nor at least mention of rock legends like Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Motley Crue,...., but you'll find Jaz Z, ABBA,...??? Don't get me wrong, I like ABBA, even been to their museum in Stockholm, but they're in Rock HOF???...come on.
Same applies for the floor with bands memorabilia - no trace of Rock big names and legends, but you'll find Eminem, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, Snoop dog,...
This floor has little more memorabilia than any Hard Rock cafe, I really expected way more in quantity and way more of real rock.
To conclude - DO NOT expect pure Rock & Roll, but as I said just a fraction of it.
