Get that front row feeling for highlights of 30+ years of induction ceremonies. This epic hall of fame pays homage to our inductees through an immersive concert-quality production and a space for fans to share their own stories. Another milestone being celebrated is 50+ years since the start of Rolling Stone Magazine, the counterculture start up that rose to the top by covering the cross-section of music, politics and pop culture. Here's a short list of our permanent, featured exhibits that help us show off our collection: • Roots of Rock & Roll • The Beat Goes On: an interactive exhibit to show who influenced your fav band • Elvis • Legends of Rock: featuring Guns N' Roses, David Bowie, the Supremes, Metallica, Michael Jackson, Parliament Funkadelic and many more • Cities and Sounds: Motown, Psychedelic, Punk, Grunge... The unmistakable styles that put cities across the country and across the pond on the musical map. • The Beatles • The Rolling Stones • Jimi Hendrix

We surprised ourselves spending more than four hours instead of the recommended two. The tickets are timed and ours were for a 10:00 am entrance. There were no significant crowds but we still took the tip we found on the HOF website and started on the second floor. This meant we had the garage band space all to ourselves. We spent a 1/2 hour or more playing around with the instruments and the video tutorials. Branding your band and printing logo stickers is a must before leaving the second floor. The power of rock experience was loud and had lots of bright moving lights. Probably not good for those who are sensitive to overstimulation. The video clips were moving especially when multiple legends of rock were playing together on stage. Take time on the walk out of the theater to take note of the artists features that you may not have recognized. They are tagged in stills from the movie on the walls of the exit ramp. The best and most moving video display is the American Bandstand theater which you don’t have to wait for and is not so distractingly loud. We found ourselves tearing up with nostalgia as we watched icons from multiple decades appear and talk with Dick Clark. The top floor features videos of rock legends explaining different types of electric guitars and equipment which is actually very interesting and fun. Finally on the basement floor, level 0, you can see an overwhelming collection memorabilia, costumes, instruments and many video exhibits. We almost gave up halfway through but talk a bathroom break and dove back in to take it all in. This was a much better experience than expected. We are not rock history fanatics but loved it just the same.

We started on floor 2, so experienced the interactive parts with no crowds and while we were fresh and energetic. All exhibits were great… especially the American Bandstand film. The Rock experience was hindered by it being simply too loud. Lots of fun… we spent over four hours!

Great experience ! It was so nice .. with no crowd ... during a 2022 Spring Break. Place was very clean. Staff was super nice. it took us 2.5 hours to get through it. We didn't play with the available instruments or watch one of the available movies... due to time constraints. Kids had a great time. They loved all the artifacts, the 1 Movie Experience, listening to a 'jamb' session, gift shop and making band stickers.
