A co-worker and I wanted to visit Rocky Mountain National Park while on a business trip in Denver. We only had one day and did not want to take the chance and do it ourselves, so we decided to go through a tour company. Colorado Sightseeing provided a great trip and something for everyoneā€™s physical ability and interests. First, there is the drive to the park which comes with an interesting history and geology lesson by Kristin. Some stops for wildlife (elk and deer) in and out of the park. Once in the park, plenty of stops for photos and to stretch your legs. Snacks and water, too! A few stops for hiking and walking trails along the way. Stopped in Estes Park for lunch and souvenirs as we headed back to Denver. Even got to see the Stanley Hotel from The Shining. We were pretty tired on the way back, so nobody put up a fight when Kristin started playing John Denver tunesšŸ˜†! (Actually, it was quite relaxing) Would certainly recommend this trip and Colorado Sightseer, especially if you have limited time to spend at the park or other locations where they offer tours.

Tour Guide Dawn and Colorado Sightseer provided a wonderful experience. The ride was a comfortable 15 seat Ford Transit. Dawn provided plenty of water breaks, snacks, and rest stops to acclimate the group to the high altitude. The ride to the mountains was full of historical information as we passed from town to town. At RMNP Dawn knew where to go and what to look for. We saw Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Mule Deer and a Marmoset. The mountains are truly majestic. I highly recommend this trip.

I was devastated that tour company I'd booked with (VIA a well known global name) and the reason I booked two nights in Denver - to see Pike's Peak - cancelled through lack of numbers. Apparently that's their pattern. It's also the scourge of the solo traveller. With no time to make other arrangements and no desire to trust them with an alternative I turned to the concierge who gave me a Colorado Sightseer's leaflet. Christin and her tour turned my experience around. She said the road was still closed to the top of Pike's Peak anyway so I already felt a bit better. About 8 of us set out the next morning for the Rockies. Christin's commentary was as smart, upbeat, witty and engaging as she herself is. The scenery was magical and Christin had thought of everything -Yaktraks, snacks, water, more water, loo stops, the lot. Christin obviously knows what to do with a good camera and it wasn't just for the keen amateur photographer in the party that she made sure there were great photos. Much appreciated, thank you. I've been in customer service all my career (more decades than I care to admit) and I can say unequivocally, Colorado Sightseer have NAILED it. I'm planning on seeing Northern BC to see bears next year and just got my globe out to see how much of a detour it'd be to go on the Pike's Peak tour, with no-one but Colorado Sightseer of course.

Thank you Alison, I enjoyed having you as a co-pilot for our adventure to Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm glad your time in Colorado was spent on a tour with us. Come back and lets go to Pikes Peak together. Thanks again for the very kind words and review.
