  • SEATING: If you are a twosome, please be advised you may be seated with another couple at a table for four. If you know another party you would like to be seated with, please note it in your reservation. Private tables are available only by request and only on the Main Deck of the vessel.
  • Maximum capacity is 130 passengers (boat fits up to 300)
  • Tour operator reserves the right to substitute vessels, routes and destinations based on vessel operations, weather and sea conditions without notice
  • Due to new Homeland Security Procedures all passengers may be subject to a random search of their personal effects (including carry ons) and all passengers must be able to provide identification upon the request of vessel personnel as proof of his/her identity. Due to these changes it is imperative that each guest have a valid ID with them at all times
  • Gratuity will be collected at checkin for parties of 8 or more. $15.00 per person
  • Boarding closes and begins 10 minutes before departure.
  • Full refunds are eligible with 24-hr notice. Less than 24-hr notice due to medical circumstances, a doctor visit note may be required for a full refund.
  • Rebooking fees may be assessed depending on avoidable circumstances.
  • Motorized Wheelchairs are not accessible on our vessel for gangway crossing.
  • Collapsible Wheelchairs 24" wide are accessible on our vessel for gangway crossing - must have a companion for assistance

  • Hand sanitiser available to travellers and staff

  • -Boat steam cleaned daily and in-between trips. -Boat always wiped down with CDC approved cleansers between trips.

Went on a cruise ship dinner. Food was not good. Best part of the night was James, the long haired man who looks like Chris Pontius. Take your $117 per person and go have a nice meal somewhere next to the water.

Wonderful job of getting to locations for whale sightings. Food was very tasty and the service was very polite. Beautiful view during and after sunset. Awesome deal for the drinks and great spacing considering covid 19. Only drawbacks were not leaving on time and the bathroom cleanliness was the most forgettable experience.

So happy you enjoyed the Maui Princess Dinner Cruise. I personally apologize for us not leaving on time - like airlines, we often have to balance between departing promptly and waiting for guests that may have gotten lost and are running late to make it to the boat before we leave. Also, regarding the bathroom, I really appreciate the feedback. I'm reaching out to operations today and will personally inspect the restrooms tomorrow to make sure they are clean. Also, our chef really values your kind words about the cuisine. He works so hard to make great food, and when someone like yourself takes the time to let him know they enjoy his food, it makes him really happy. Thanks again, James :-)

I’m writing this email to express our terrible experience my wife and I had attending the Maui princess cruise for our 5 anniversary.I must say it was a turn of unfortunate events prior to boarding the ship I called on 3 occasions to assure the cruise was still on or canceled due to unpredictable windy weather conditions I was assured that everything would be fine and the cruise would still proceed 20 min after boarding and departing (we were on top deck) we were Pummeled by a rain that quickly turned into a rainstorm all the top deck attendees packed the bottom deck and we were left with no choice but to stay on the top deck with no shelter several drinks were flying off the tables since everyone ran to the bottom deck leaving them behind all this happened shortly after confirming our food orders dinner so of course receiving our dinner took longer than expected. Additionally dinner was very unedible having to brace ourselves & hold onto our belongings caused a massive puddle on our plates after an hour a kind man which I assume was the chef brought us trash bags to keep us some what dry I’m also adding my wifes experience since she is a vegan our waiter assured her dish would arrive with some substitutions that were made to be vegan but when the waiter finally brought it over he apologized for not being sure if it was vegan because of the other attendees rushing to the bottom deck the orders were completely screwed up although we appreciated his honestly having to withstand this 2hr long nightmare cruise we were extremely disappointed. Once we reached our final destination we had to stop to the nearest open souvenir shop just to buy dry clothes. We are truly at loss of words even after calling and asking about the weather and assured everything would operate smoothly Maui princess cruise would choose to operate and put people at risk on such unsafe weather

We truly value all our Viator and TripAdvisor, as well as all other, guests. When it looks like there may be bad weather coming, we ALWAYS give guests the option to re-book or cancel. In fact, in almost every instance, we call ahead of time to let them know. If that didn't happen, again I'm sorry. Additionally, at the dock, prior to boarding, we again again give guests to option to cancel or re-book. We clearly explain that inclement weather warnings means a high likelihood that the trip could be ruined by rain or wind. In these situations we'd honestly prefer not to go, but we've learned the hard way that when you cancel, guests tend to write bad reviews anyway. We've been doing this for over 30 years, and really want every guest to have a fabulous time - and 99% of the time they all do. Inevitably, there's always a percentage of guests willing to "take the risk" - often times because their trip here on Maui is almost over, and even with the bad weather, they really want to try. We attempt to accommodate them the best we can. But, as you experienced, when it starts raining down cats and dogs, and everyone rushes from the top outdoor dining deck to the lower one, no one ends up happy. Again, my profuse apologies, not only for the bad weather, but that we were unable to make your 5th Anniversary as wonderful as we would have liked to make it for you and your wife.
