Safety of flight is our primary concern. The operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or appear to be intoxicated. Intoxicated passengers will not fly and they will be charged in full.
For doors off tours, jackets and/or sweatshirts, closed toe shoes, and hair ties are required. Long pants are recommended.
When booking the doors off experience, your seat may or may not be directly adjacent to an open door.
Only passengers weighing 80 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Robinson R44 helicopter. Only passengers weighing 100 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Airbus Astar helicopter.
All passengers 24 months and older must purchase a full fare seat.
For each guest weighing 260 pounds or more, a weight and balance fee is required to safely balance the aircraft. For guests weighing between 260-279 lbs, a fee in the amount of 50% of the seat price will be assessed after booking. For guests weighing 280 lbs or higher, an additional seat purchase will be assessed after booking.

What To Expect

Waikiki Beach

You begin with the heights of the Waikiki skyline along the sultry sands of the most famous beach in the Pacific.

Diamond Head State Monument

Oahu's crown, Diamond Head, pops into view presiding over the island known as The Gathering Place.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

As you pass over the ridges of the Leeward coast, Hanauma Bay appears below and gentle beaches transform into rugged volcanic cliffs, carved over millennia by sun, surf, and rain.

Makapuu Lighthouse

You continue on this regal tour by flying over top of the charming Makapu’u lighthouse.

Lanikai Beach

The island’s Windward Coast awaits where you will see the incredible Ko’olau mountains standing watch above Lanikai Beach – often called the most marvelous beach in the world – and the offshore sandbars and coral formations that make Kaneohe Bay one of the most picturesque places on Earth.

Mokoli’i Island

Fly past Mokoli'i Island, and view with awe the succulent Ka’a’awa Valley before you.

Kaaawa

The pilot guides your helicopter into the pristine forest and jagged cliffs of the magnificent Ka'a'awa Valley. As the mountains approach, you fly in close to see the magnificent waters of Sacred Falls tumble over 1000 feet to the rainforest below.

North Shore

Check out the world famous North Shore where you can see the surfers challenge the waves at Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay.

Dole Plantation

You head back towards the airport with a passage over the mountains and the island's inland sea - Dole Plantation's "Pineapple Sea".

USS Arizona Memorial

You complete the circle of Oahu by turning inland and passing over the beautiful pineapple maze at the Dole Plantation. This incredible tour doesn't end until you have completed a solemn pass over Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial.

Absolutely AMAZING! Oliver was my pilot! The dude is gorgeous and his accent is even more gorgeous! Oliver is FUNNY and super knowledgeable about the island! He will give you lots of insider info as you are flying! He will fly you close to the waterfalls (that is, if they are flowing). This was my first time in a helicopter! It was just an incredible experience! I did the one hour tour.. However, 30 mins into the flight and my motion sickness kicked in. Uh oh! But, I was okay.. I just put my phone down from filming and looked straight ahead. That calmed my motion sickness a bit. Only complaint, I requested to be up front in my notes. I know it’s just a request but I was alone!!!!! The couple that was flying in the helicopter with me should have been sat together since I requested this long ago. However, they put the wife up front with the pilot and the husband in the back. So, I asked to be put on another helicopter as I was paying a lot of money for this one hour experience. They told me that this was not possible. They then said that they would talk to the couple and see if the couple was okay with it. Then, they came in and said I would be up front. I thought, “Wow, okay! Cool!” When we landed, we had about 15 mins before we were escorted back to the building where we checked in so the couple and I were chatting. I thanked them for being so cool about switching seats, given my request. They proceeded to tell me that they were not asked anything but were, instead, told the seating had changed due to weight distribution. I felt terrible. You could see the husband was displeased and super upset! I would NEVER put anyone out like that.. which, is why I asked for another chopper! But, they made me think that the couple was okay with the change. I do my research. So many reviews stated that you want to be on the opposite side of the pilot. That’s why I wrote the request. When you’re paying the kind of money this flight costs (more than plane ticket from California to Hawaii), you would hope your request was at least acknowledged! I had to bring it to their attention!!!!!! It was never noted.

Hi! Very nice tour, well seated. The pilot was friendly and knowledgeable, weather was unfortunately pretty bad but still ! The but is on the grounds, despite very polite staff; they sent an email a few hours prior to the tour requesting That we be here an hour early! First I wasn’t on international roaming so never got the email… second that was Useless, since the group waited more than half an hour before the tour started, with no complimentary water or coffee or whatever… for the price asked it could be affordable and nice …
