Safety of flight is our primary concern. The operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or appear to be intoxicated. Intoxicated passengers will not fly and they will be charged in full.
For doors off tours, jackets and/or sweatshirts, closed toe shoes, and hair ties are required. Long pants are recommended.
When booking the doors off experience, your seat may or may not be directly adjacent to an open door.
Only passengers weighing 80 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Robinson R44 helicopter. Only passengers weighing 100 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Airbus Astar helicopter.
All passengers 24 months and older must purchase a full fare seat.
For each guest weighing 260 pounds or more, a weight and balance fee is required to safely balance the aircraft. For guests weighing between 260-279 lbs, a fee in the amount of 50% of the seat price will be assessed after booking. For guests weighing 280 lbs or higher, an additional seat purchase will be assessed after booking.

What To Expect

Waikiki Beach

You begin with the heights of the Waikiki skyline along the sultry sands of the most famous beach in the Pacific.

Diamond Head State Monument

Oahu's crown, Diamond Head, pops into view presiding over the island known as The Gathering Place.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

As you pass over the ridges of the Leeward coast, Hanauma Bay appears below and gentle beaches transform into rugged volcanic cliffs, carved over millennia by sun, surf, and rain.

Makapuu Lighthouse

You continue on this regal tour by flying over top of the charming Makapu’u lighthouse.

Lanikai Beach

The island’s Windward Coast awaits where you will see the incredible Ko’olau mountains standing watch above Lanikai Beach – often called the most marvelous beach in the world – and the offshore sandbars and coral formations that make Kaneohe Bay one of the most picturesque places on Earth.

Mokoli’i Island

Fly past Mokoli'i Island, and view with awe the succulent Ka’a’awa Valley before you.

Kaaawa

The pilot guides your helicopter into the pristine forest and jagged cliffs of the magnificent Ka'a'awa Valley. As the mountains approach, you fly in close to see the magnificent waters of Sacred Falls tumble over 1000 feet to the rainforest below.

North Shore

Check out the world famous North Shore where you can see the surfers challenge the waves at Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay.

Dole Plantation

You head back towards the airport with a passage over the mountains and the island's inland sea - Dole Plantation's "Pineapple Sea".

USS Arizona Memorial

You complete the circle of Oahu by turning inland and passing over the beautiful pineapple maze at the Dole Plantation. This incredible tour doesn't end until you have completed a solemn pass over Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial.

We took this flight in december on a very windy day. On such a day expect a very bumpy ride. To be clear, not complaining about the service at all since it was excellent and our pilot Sarah had a very steady hand and a professional touch. I chose not to have a door and while it first seemed like a good idea the wind was blowing trough the cockpit was so heavy that getting video was very hard. Just to let you know, if heavy winds expected stick with the door since there is a good visibility trough the plexiglass also. The other thing is that have no loose clothing with you. I had trouble with my hood kn my jacked flapping on my face all the time. I have been on a helicopter before with no doors, but I have never experienced the weather this hard. The 60 minute flight was exactly what was promised. Scenery is just amazing and our pilot Sarah was giving an excellent selection of little bits of knowledge while flying over all of the main points of interests of the Oahu island. We flew over the locations where different Hollywood productions were shot as at the same time the movie soudtrack was playing. A great idea and really took me back to scenes from those movies. I really do recommend the tour and wish you have better luck weatherwise.

I used tripadvisor to attempt to book this tour. I triple checked the online availability with tripadvisor and booked my "adventure". Within 10 minutes I received a phone call from the tour company advising they did not have any availability on the date I chose which was the only date I had available. I had to cancel my reservation and waiting to see if I receive the refund I was advised would be processed. I would recommend if your website shows availability to make sure it is accurate.

booked a 1 hour flight over the island & it was sensational. Pick up from our hotel was right on time, & our driver was very informative on our ride out to the airport. Was a bit nervous (being 1st time in a helicopter) but as soon as I was in there, the nerves went. Everyone was so professional & it was a seamless operation - everyone had a job to do & did it extremely well. Our pilot was Joanna & she was fantastic. She answered all of our questions & had a great knowledge of the island. We all loved every minute of it & would go again (doors off next time)
