We had the BEST time out on the Arkansas River for the Royal Gorge trip with Johnny as our guide on 7/20. I was with my bf’s family who are all in their 60s and had various knee pains and injuries, and he took all of this into account throughout our trip. He was so friendly and talkative and shared so many amazing facts about the gorge as we rafted. This was one of the top rafting trips I’ve ever been on! Great for thrill seekers. He said the best time to go for the water levels and even more thrill is the first week of July. I’m going to do this trip again next year at that time. 10/10 recommend booking with Lost Paddle! They had muffins, sunscreen, bathrooms, PFDs, helmets, and everything else you could need at their shop before we took the short bus ride to the river input.
