We had an awesome experience and our guide, Joe, was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the river and gave great instructions. It would have great to bring a GoPro. Highly recommend Lost Paddle Rafting.

Lost Paddle doesn’t seem like much from the outside but they care about their customers. Our raft flipped over and the whole team put our safely as their top priority. The safety tips they gave on the bus were essential and they are very knowledgeable and professional. I am grateful for each member of the team. Great place with a lot of heart!

Love going with the smaller, non corporate places when we can. As others have mentioned, the Royal Gorge water is too high to raft right now so they divert to Bighorn Sheep Canyon which still had some class IV and III rapids. Unless you've rafted a ton and have a super specific experience in mind I think you'll be satisfied with the alternate trip. If not, you're probably going to have to wait until mid-July for the Gorge to open this year. Anywho, our guide Nathan was thorough with the safety briefing and clear instructions about what to do in case of any problems, which is something that I've had other rafting guides gloss over. It was an oddly cold weekend and not a lot of people out and about so my husband and I were the only ones in our raft besides Nathan. What a blast! I'd recommend rafting with Lost Paddle to anyone.
