What To Expect
1
Royal Gorge Bridge and Park
Look down into the breathtaking Royal Gorge as this tour takes you over America’s highest suspension bridge nearly 1000 feet above the Arkansas River. Exclusive access through the south entrance to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park and to the top of Fremont Peak allow you to see and experience true Colorado beauty.
2
Skyline Drive
Skyline Drive is a scenic roadway in Cañon City, Colorado. It was built by inmate labor in 1905.[1] The road starts from U.S. Highway 50, with a gradual incline up the side of a ridge. When the road crests, it winds, climbs, and falls like a roller coaster until near its end, where a scenic outlook overlooks both the city (east) and the highway (west). The single-lane, one-way road rises about 800 feet above the surrounding terrain. There are no guardrails despite sharp drop offs, and the drive is about 3 miles long.
3
Temple Canyon Park
Temple Canyon road winds over the Royal Gorge anticline through the ancient hunting grounds of the Ute tribe. The canyon road passes "The Temple" but you have to know where to look. Fossils can be seen along the road with other geological wonders.

We had an amazing tour with Steve. He took us through Cañon City and explained a lot of the history. He is very knowledgeable about history and geology. It was a very wintry day but he managed to take us to places that he didn’t even think we could get to in all the snow! The vies were amazing with all the freshly fallen snow! We were the only 2 on the tour so it was extra special to be able to ask any questions we wanted! We would recommend this tour to everyone! So many things we wanted to do on Our trip weren’t possible because of the snow storms. This tour saved our trip from being disappointing. Steve made the trip so exciting with his expert driving. I’m

Wow, what a great review! Thank you so much for your kind words about Steve and your jeep tour, Donna. Many people only think about skiing when they come to Colorado in the winter. We're thrilled that you had a wonderful time on your snowy ride. Please come back for another tour in the summer, if you have an opportunity. It's a completely different (and equally wonderful) experience.

We have our own 4x4, but they have access to places we couldn't go without a guide. Tom is a natural history buff and really makes this an exceptional tour. He is very friendly and personable. The sights are amazing on this tour, and having someone explain the geography and history is a value added bonus. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.
