With over 35 years of experience sharing our love of sailing with San Diego visitors, we are prepared to offer you a memorable day on the sea. Catamarans really are more fun to sail with the special bow nets designed for sunbathing, and lounging around watching sea life, and water rush by. The swift and stable ocean design ensures a comfortable, and exhilarating ride without the rolling and leaning that often causes seasickness on other boats. When you are welcomed aboard, you'll feel comfortable right away because we really do like people, and with such small groups, you've escaped the crowds. With cushioned seating with back rests, our catamarans are comfortable for all ages of guests from young kids to seniors. A perfect way to spend a lazy day, unwinding and relaxing, no cares in the world.

Captain Matt was kind, engaging, helpful and fun to sail with. He took the time to teach our kids a bit about sailing and they both walked away wanting to learn more. We really enjoyed his knowledge and the time on the water.

A great evening sailing with Captain Matt, whose passion and expertise clearly was a highlight of our time. He was extremely safety conscience, insuring that all guest had an enjoyable time. Captain Matt was extremely hospitable His relaxed laid back approach was refreshing as he shared information about the different sites on our cruise. Originally I tried to book another day sail but they were unavailable and recommended Fun Cat Sailing. What a stroke of luck, this was the best day sail I've ever been on and I've been sailing for over 20 years. Captain Rod and his deckhand (I forget his name) provided a fantastic sailing adventure on a 33 foot racing catamaran named Wind Drum. They were both very knowledgeable, professional and good company. If you like sailing the Wind Drum will take you on a heck of a ride or if you would prefer a smoother cruise they also have another larger catamaran named the Tigress available.
