With over 35 years of experience sharing our love of sailing with San Diego visitors, we are prepared to offer you a memorable day on the sea. 2.5 hour tour length is perfect for seeing all the beautiful sights.
Catamarans really are more fun to sail with the special bow nets designed for sunbathing, and lounging around watching sea life, and water rush by. The swift and stable ocean design ensures a comfortable, and exhilarating ride without the rolling and leaning that often causes seasickness on other boats. When you are welcomed aboard, you'll feel comfortable right away because we really do like people, and with such small groups, you've escaped the crowds.

There were 10 of us sailing with Captain Ryan. We had an amazing time celebrating my birthday. The boat was very comfortable and the sailing was smooth. Lots of room to move around and plenty of seating for everyone. There is even a bathroom on board. The views of San Diego were beautiful and the sea lions were entertaining too. Ryan gave a safety talk before we left the dock and he was very helpful and a great host. Ryan takes great care of this boat and it was very clean and safe. We were out in December on a brisk day but it was very protected and warm in the cockpit . Some of us did go sit out front and enjoyed the view and the breeze. Ryan brought us blankets in case we got chilly. This is a great adventure for all ages, even us more mature adults. I highly recommend sailing with Fun Cat to experience a fun day on San Diego Bay.

A beautiful day celebrating a friend's birthday with 9 of her besties! Captain Ryan made the day flawless for all of us. We all arrived with the expectation that it was going to be cold and blustery on the water. Under sail everything was smooth and warm. Some us even ventured out to sit on the front trampoline.Mimosas and yummy food/desserts rounded out the festive experience. San Diego is so pretty from the Bay reminding all of us why we live here.

December in San Diego really has amazing Sailing weather for everything but swimming! Thank you for joining us and bringing such a warm energy to the boat! Its always a good idea to bring extra layers in the off chance you need them which isn't often!

We have gone out with Captain Rod and Captain Ryan now several times and always have the best time. It's a great way to see the bay and I always learn something I didn't know despite living here for 6 years. The catamaran itself is very comfortable and has plenty of room to sit in the back or up in the front on the trampoline area. They provide beer and wine but you can also bring your own drinks as well as any snacks you want. Both captains we've had have been very accommodating and fun as well as highly skilled at what they do. Cannot recommend enough if you're looking for a fun and relaxing day on the bay!!
