We get as close as you can legally get and stop to take pictures from the sailboat. No crowds with groups of six maximum.

Brooklyn Bridge

We motor under the Brooklyn Bridge.

One World Trade Center

We sail across the Hudson towards One World Trade Center.

Ellis Island

We sail by Ellis Island.

We sail by Governors Island

Excellent sail trip with wonferful view on all parts of New York including statue of liberty. It was also a very nice talk with captain Andrew. I recommend this trip if you are in NYC.

This was an amazing trip and I absolutely highly recommend it! I go to NYC every year, usually in the winter but decided to try NYC in the summertime. A friend recently discovered Ian and this Brooklyn Sail, loved it, and recommended it to me . The 6 person max is a big plus because you can really enjoy the sailboat, have lots of space to sit and enjoy the sites from the front and rear of the sailboat as well as engage in conversation with Ian, or not, if you prefer a quiet sail. We sailed right under the Brooklyn Bridge and got some amazing pics, then right up to the Statue of Liberty for more breathtaking views and pictures. We cruised around Governors island and right up to One World Center. It felt like a private, intimate sail that afforded us the opportunity to see the best of NYC from a completely different perspective - a beautiful, close-up perspective with no lines, no waiting, and a wonderful captain with a 100% focus on providing a safe, fantastic experience. Kids and adults will love this! And then go enjoy some authentic pizza in Brooklyn!
