What To Expect

Salem Old Town Hall

A historic building in its own rite, as well as a filming location for the classic Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus. A fitting location for the start of the tour. Note: We'll stop at this location, we don't go inside.

John Ward House

Historic location. 330 years ago this is where the house of Sheriff Corwin, the High Sheriff of Essex county stood. In the scope of the trials he acts as the warrant issuer, interrogator, and torturer, amongst others. Note: We'll stop at this location, we don't go inside.

Salem Witch Trials Memorial

Historic Location. Those who were executed in 1692 were not given any formal burial. this memorial, dedicated in 1993, is what we have today to now pay our respects to those who lost their lives in the Salem Witchcraft Trials. Note: We'll stop at this location, we don't go inside.

My wife and I came to Salem for the day and took part in this walking tour. The tour guide, Jeff was very knowledgeable and clearly has such passion for Salem and its history. This is the kind of guide one wants for this type of tour. I highly recommend this walking tour.

Salem has always interested me and it was our first time there. Jeff was awesome and had so much knowledge along the way! We saw other tour guides with flash cards, Jeff did not need those. He knew his info and had his amazing unique way to guide the tour! Highly recommend!
