The tour was okay. Different than what we were expecting, so some of this is probably on us. Parking was a mess, so get there early or reserve parking somewhere. We arrived 30 minutes early and I dropped my wife and daughter off to check us in. The person that checked us in told my wife there was no time for her to get something to eat since the tour was starting in 19 minutes. I was busy trying to find parking still. Parking is not necessarily on the vendor, but some notification of the parking issues would have been helpful. The tour guide was great and shared some of the history. We also had some time to explore the cemetery on our own. We were hoping for more individual stories, but again, that goes back to our expectations, and not necessarily the vendor.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. My name is Dominic and I am the Marketing and Sales Manager for The Salem Day Tour. Parking is generally very easy in Salem, except for weekends in October. Still, beacuse it is a common question, our confirmation emails have a link to the "Travel and Parking" page on our website. On that page we list options for parking along with their rates, availability and the walking distance to the meeting location. We have designed it so that you can click the "get directions" button next to any listing and Google Maps will handle the navigation for you. We find that this is usually very helpful for guests and we haven't had any issues outside of the Haunted Happenings Festival in October since creating the page.
We are always interested in finding new ways to make sure guests see the information we provide and would love to get your input if you have any time to spare. If you would like to contact us about any part of your experience you can contact me directly at
[email protected]. Looking forward to hopefully hearing from you soon!
