We had arrived a few minutes late because of traffic and parking and when we found the store to check in at, the cashier couldn't tell us where to go to try and catch up to the tour group. Didn't even try calling or radio ing the tour guide to ask them where they were so we could run and catch up to them. I lost out on $100 dollars on this tour and was told to call back Tuesday which is the 5th to try and talk to a manager about a possible refund. I booked these tickets same day and am hoping I get a refund.

Hello, Despite your 30 minute late arrival, and demeaning & disrespectful words and attitude towards our retail employee, we tried everything we could to help, including: 1. Giving you directions to catch up. 2. Offering to move you to a the next tour time for free. We know that you were stuck in traffic and having trouble parking, so we can understand your bad mood. However, taking it out on the hard working, kind retail employee is unacceptable. Guides silence their cell phones, and ask guests to do the same at the beginning of each tour. Due to the standard of respect we provide our guests, we can't call a tour guide during their tour performance. Even if we could: would you expect an entire tour group to be delayed and diverted back to the starting place to pick you up? Providing you directions to catch up and offering a free reschedule to a slightly later tour is very reasonable accommodation for a late arrival.

We did the day tour with Lamaria (?) and were lucky to have a small group... only 6 people!! She knows her history and is passionate about sharing it with others. We were able to go into the Pickering House and the graveyard... a surprise stop! And she is all about stopping in the shade!! Well worth the time and money!!
