Overview

Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

The Forest Lore Tour was peaceful and beautiful. It was a great break from the bustle of downtown. Uni, the founder and tour guide was sweet and enthusiastic to share her knowledge and personal experiences. We learned about local plant life and some magical things as well. The trail did get a little steep, but we did it and it was worth it. This was my favorite part of my trip to Salem.
